Marsh: Human Element Programs - February 26, 2025
Ken Botes from Marsh gave us an educational webinar on Human Element Programs and how these programs are essential in controlling property losses. This session covered the importance and use of hot work permits, effective contractor management and associated risks, and proper housekeeping for combustible storage in mechanical and electrical rooms. It also addressed fire protection impairment programs, the use of infrared thermography to identify electrical hot spots, proper maintenance of fire hoses in cabinets, and the inspection and cleaning of dryer exhaust vents.
Cyber Security 101 - March 19, 2025

Effective Defense Strategies for Law Enforcement Claims - May 28, 2025
Jack Ryan presented an informative session designed to educate our members on the most effective defense strategies for Law Enforcement claims. This training pointed out key differences between 1983 claims and typical law enforcement claims, and highlighted key considerations when a claim arises, including statute of limitations, tort caps, federal versus state claims, and reserving for exposure versus liability.
